By installing or using DepositPay (the "App") you agree to these terms.
The App lets merchants offer deposit / partial-payment purchase options on Shopify and automatically collects remaining balances through Shopify's payment mandate. The App relies on Shopify's platform and eligible payment gateways; features may be limited by Shopify's own rules (for example, deferred purchase options are not available on POS or draft orders).
Subscription fees are billed through Shopify according to the plan you select. Plans include a free trial as shown on the plan page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not take a percentage of your sales.
You are responsible for the products you sell, your terms toward your customers (including cancellation and refund policies for deposits), for complying with applicable consumer law, and for keeping your store's payment gateway in good standing. You must not use the App for unlawful purposes.
The App attempts to charge outstanding balances on the schedule you configure. A charge may fail for reasons outside our control (expired card, insufficient funds, gateway decline). The App notifies you and lets you retry; it does not guarantee collection.
The App is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
You may uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse or non-payment. On uninstall, Shopify removes purchase options created by the App within 48 hours and we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
